Black Empowerment

During 2009 an agreement was negotiated whereby Temeng (Pty) Ltd (a 100% Black owned business) and Anglo Zimele (an Anglo American Initiative) respectively purchased a 28% and 10% share in Bird Machines (Pty) Ltd. Temeng specialises in field service and maintenance support to various mining groups in the Steelpoort area of South Africa. Anglo American is a major player in the international mining industry and in particular in Southern Africa.
